Responsibilities & Context:

Lead the overall Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions across the knit garment manufacturing process, from fabric inspection to final shipment.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality management systems (QMS), SOPs, and quality policies aligned with international buyer requirements.

Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards as well Japanese Quality Standard, AQL requirements, product specifications, and regulatory standards.

Monitor inline, end-line, and final inspections to ensure defect prevention and consistent product quality.

Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Collaborate with Merchandising, Production, Technical, IE, Finishing, Washing, and Compliance teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve manufacturing performance.

Lead pre-production meetings, risk assessments, pilot runs, and quality reviews for new styles.

Drive Right First Time (RFT) initiatives and continuous improvement programs to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.

Manage buyer audits, third-party inspections, and technical visits while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Ensure all quality records, inspection reports, and documentation are maintained accurately and submitted on time.

Build, mentor, and develop QA/QC teams through structured training, coaching, and performance management.

Monitor departmental KPIs and prepare management reports with actionable recommendations.

Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
