Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the team to align with departmental priorities and objectives and manage end to end QA process to ensure all products achieve customer standards;
∎ Develop the team to ensure each member has the correct skills to achieve/support overall QA objectives;
∎ Ensure the required QA coverage and focus is aligned with QA resources;
∎ Manage, guide and lead a QA & QC team and assign them as seasonal experts of the product;
∎ Follow up production planning, arrange RA and PP meetings and make meeting notes;
∎ Monitoring day to day activities of all QA and technical staff and provide technical advisory support to the internal and external department this could cover garments constructions, pattern assessment, resolving issues, managing approval, and fittings, etc.;
∎ Provide technical support and follow up quality and product safety measures functions for ensuring the acceptable quality of merchandise to be shipped to buyers;
∎ Full responsibility for quality function within the factory through the entire manufacturing process including incoming, in process, finished goods inspection, and testing;
∎ To align the team KPI and drive the result. Regular individual appraisals, objectives vs achievements, re-align where necessary;
∎ Manage end to end QA process from preproduction to bulk production process and activities;
∎ Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues;
∎ Own and pre-determine quality performance indicators;
∎ Establish quality performance awareness review by creating quality performance improvements programs and methodology for performance improvement validation;
∎ Create / establish a forum to enable understanding of latest manufacturing technology;
∎ Educate cross functional partners on new QA processes / performances / initiatives;
∎ Risk analysis meeting / PP meeting/Line review meeting and Quality performance meetings with vendor base cross functional teams;
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned 'Time and Action Plan' on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity;
∎ A clear commitment to making decisions on the basis of verifiable data and statistical methods, rather than assumptions and guesswork;
∎ Schedule a meeting of the full team to discuss strategies and share intelligence;
∎ Consult with the internal and external (Buyer) relevant team to make vital decisions;
∎ Implementation the total quality management system to achieve the overall goals of the customers' and organization's requirements;
∎ I ensure that the work is being done properly in a systematic manner with standard SOPs to ensure quality metrics including test results;
∎ Manage product life cycle (Product development to customer feedback) in terms of quality and garment technology;
∎ Have the authority to stop production & hold shipment if product found non-conforming and out of specification;
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Strong leadership and team management skill.
∎ Should have knowledge of all aspect of quality control methods and practices including AQL levels and other prevailing international standards.
∎ Must have the ability to supervise and inspire team members.
∎ Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali;
∎ Good knowledge & skills in computing.
∎ Strong technical knowledge in quality system.
∎ Good leadership ability to lead & motivate the subordinates.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame
∎ Good in planning and analytical skills
∎ Good inter-personal & communication skills
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented
