Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Sc / B.Sc in Nutrition Science, Applied Nutrition & Food Technology from any UGC approved recognized university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure implementation through technical support to Community Nutrition Promoter (CNP) and Technical Assistant and data collection mothers’ session, cooking demonstrations and nutrition awareness campaign according to project design
∎ Counselling the target population including care-givers of children under five children, adolescent girls and pregnant and lactating women
∎ Support preparations of training materials on nutrition change behavior practices and ensure capacity building of the field staff and Community Nutrition Promoters
∎ Ensure screening and referral of acutely malnourished children and mother to nutrition & health facilities
∎ Ensure all targeted Pregnant and Lactating women receiving counseling to promote IYCF practices
∎ Producing and maintaining records of the beneficiaries as a member of the team, work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure community mobilization and referral
∎ Coordinate with Project Officer (vegetable garden), Sector Specialist (Vegetable Garden), and Deputy Project Manager (DPM) for smooth operation of the project activities
∎ Coordinate with the Camp and Host community stakeholders and ensure intensive communication with other HCMP sectors to ensure synergy and better result of the project
∎ Prepare weekly, biweekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports and observation reports
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
