Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the day-to-day management of the youth engagement activities within the Rohingya camps, ensuring alignment with the overall project objectives.
∎ Coordinate the planning and execution of capacity-building and life skills programs for Rohingya youth.
∎ Monitor the progress of the activities, ensuring timelines and targets are met.
∎ Ensure that all youth engagement activities are gender-sensitive and inclusive, meeting the needs of marginalized and vulnerable youth.
∎ Provide training and capacity-building support for staff and local partners involved in the delivery of youth programs.
∎ Oversee the program activities to ensure that project goals are achieved, and resources are utilized effectively and efficiently through regular field visits and monitoring.
∎ Ensure that resources (human, financial, and material) are managed according to project requirements.
∎ Conduct regular assessments of project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and document lessons learned from field visits.
∎ Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, camp management, youth groups, community leaders, internal team and management, and other cooperating partners.
∎ Facilitate regular coordination meetings with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of youth programs and address any emerging challenges.
∎ Advocate for the active participation of Rohingya youth in community development and decision-making processes.
∎ Prepare timely and accurate reports on program activities, results, and challenges, ensuring that stakeholders are kept informed on the progress of youth engagement initiatives.
∎ Ensure proper documentation of all program-related activities, including training materials, session reports, and feedback from participants.
∎ Contribute to the preparation of donor reports and other required documentation.

∎ Job Summary: The Senior Project Officer (SPO) will lead the implementation of the Nurturing Youth in Camp project, focusing on empowering Rohingya youth through life skills development, community resilience-building, and personal growth. The SPO will manage programme activities, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor progress, and ensure effective resource utilization. Additionally, the role includes capacity-building for staff, and stakeholder engagement, and comprehensive reporting to support project goals.
∎ Key responsibilities include (not limited to):
∎ Program Implementation and Management (65% of time)
