Educational Requirements:
∎ University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience.

∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organization Name: IOM (International Organization for Migration).
∎ Support LPS Officer in coordinating and tracking all aspects of approved grant activities in coordination with the Grants and Programme Support Unit;
∎ Support the review of the narrative components of all grants and reports in line of the goals and strategic objectives of the programme; identify and highlight issues and recommend improvements;
∎ Support LPS Officer to develop, modify, update and maintain the Grants Activity Database as well as the Unit's procedures and processes to ensure that all hardcopy and electronic documents for all grants are completed, filed and in order; including supporting on the grant closures process in cooperation with PSU;
∎ Monitor the overall quality of grants financial documentation and the timely entry of all relevant information; all changes made to grant records and grant approvals in the Grants Activity Database;
∎ Ensure the Grants Activity Database includes centralized financial tracking of all grants; liaise regularly and actively with financial, administrative and logistical and procurement units in order to further program objectives; monitor adherence to programme standards.
∎ In coordination with LPS Officer monitor ongoing activities of the grants, including those of project implementing partners; in coordination with the partner focal points, facilitate the exchange of monitoring information with external partners as necessary to maintain appropriate visibility with grant activities.
∎ Support the admin/finance team with the overall control of expenditures, with a specific focus on grants commitments versus disbursements. Make sure that all grant disbursements are properly coded, as per IOM's accountancy system.
∎ Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in financial management and accounting revision of implementing partners small-grants financial reporting and documentation
∎ Experience in compliance auditing and evaluation of small-grants
∎ Experience in operational activities in humanitarian response or development or related field, including project monitoring and reporting;
∎ Experience with the IOM and UN contracts, Implementing Partners and other legal processes;
∎ Proficiency in MS Office (Should be well acquainted with MS Excel in particular); experience in graphic design, Power Point or other software to generate sophisticated reporting; and
∎ Work experience in Cox's Bazar District, especially, in Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazila, is an advantage.
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla is required, Knowledge of local dialect of Chattogram is an advantage
Salary:
∎ Monthly Salary BDT: 138,954.00
