Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Social Science/ Humanities particularly in Development studies/ English/ International Relations/ Economics, MBA or in any relevant subject from recognised education institute.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate regular engagement meetings with key stakeholders, including government, private sector and donors, in collaboration with relevant programme, and other BRAC supporting departments to select, identify and share information relevant to BRAC Education 's work - strengthening current and future working opportunities that continues to better position BRAC;
∎ Lead and give strong in-depth support to competitive proposal development process including design, writing, submission, as well as strategic pre-positioning and post-submission negotiations with in timeline
∎ Administer regular mapping activities that identify, track, and analyse emerging and current Donors trends and opportunities that add to and/ or complement Donor business forecasts so that programme has a deep understanding of the donor landscape, including donors, stakeholders, INGOs, and programmes that work in education thematic areas
∎ In collaboration with others, lead to develop process to select downstream partners and regular follow them up in alignment with BRAC strategy and policy.
∎ Develop a culture of pro-active engagement with key stakeholders, including government, private sector and donors, on education in line with BRAC's Global Strategy, as well as resource mobilization.
∎ Provide technical assistance for developing and tracking of approved annual operating plans, NGOAB approval, project work plan and individual annual resource mobilization plans with specific targets
∎ Act as the key liaison between BEP Sr. Management and all donors, other relevant BRAC departments, project heads and implementing partners involved with the program.
∎ Develop, coach and motivate colleagues in the team including those who report through others to maximize productivity and output of staff through providing clear instructions, technical guidance, direction, and supportive supervision for execution of projects at field level & HO
∎ Organizing inception meeting and tracking the activities in terms of grand management including closing of every project
∎ Strengthen capacity of the projects to meet BEP's requirement by coordinating activities at all stages using agreed management, finance and reporting mechanisms and tools
∎ Ensure preparing different project reports, presentations, papers, proposal, project document, budget etc. as per requirement of the Programme
∎ Represent BEP in different internal and external meetings, forums & workshops.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible experience in an international development environment that includes leading roles in partnership management, negotiations, programme development (including proposal development), and innovative fundraising.
∎ Experience of management of (or working within) diverse teams including utilization of capacity building, coaching, and mentoring skills. Experience of working with Government departments.
∎ Familiarity with key donor requirements (e.g. USAID, EU, UN, the World Bank, EAC, GoB etc.) for quality proposal development.
