Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct processed-based audit for HCMP Projects/support function's overall operation
∎ Conduct risked-based audit as per monthly audit schedule for Projects of HCMP Cox's Bazar / significant spots in line with annual audit plan and critical audit areas / risks and assist in preparation of segmental annual internal plan for the next year
∎ Coordinate audit team during critical audit assignments in field and report audit observations in constructive / business perspective manner
∎ Drive the branch level risk assessments in line with risk management framework to identify the critical business / programme areas in field level
∎ Ensure quality of audit reports and meet management expectation through meeting, discussion with management along with proper documentation
∎ Ensure preservation of sufficient and appropriate documentation against audit findings
∎ Assist in preparation of documents for Internal Audit Review Management Committee Meetings
∎ Assist in preparation and submission of executive summary of internal audit observations by scrutinizing Quarterly/ monthly/ process audit reports of BRAC HCMP programme
∎ Communicate with different zone, division and section within the department for successfully implementation of annual audit plan
∎ Maintain co-ordination with Programmes and other department for audit related matters and regarding update of circular during the year
∎ Exchange views and satisfy queries of other audit staffs and supervisor for smooth operation of IAD
∎ Other task as assigned as per need of supervisor/management
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
∎ Senior Officer, Internal Audir is responsible for internal audit services for HCMP, significant and special audit spots and process based audit with an advisory role.
