Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in coordination among planning, production, technical & maintenance teams; Work with team to ensure proper observation, recording, necessary remedies and instant actions for finding root causes of nonproductive time.
∎
∎ Coordinate with Planning team
∎ Analyze new styles and improve processes for better productivity
∎ Prepare Operation Bulletin and Layout
∎ Coordinate with the Maintenance Team to ensure on-time Machines/ Work aids availability
∎ Plan and implement quick style changeover
∎ Study the capacity of full-line and balancing for optimum output
∎ Method analysis and development to improve productivity and quality
∎ Follow up on low-performing Operators
∎ Improve skills of Operators
∎ Maintain Operators’ skill summary
∎ Monitor hourly production and achieving the line target
∎ Reduce WIP
∎ Follow-up line and floor efficiencyrecord and reduce nonproductive time (Loss time)
∎ SMV estimation by time study
∎ Monthly Manpower Budgeting
∎ Monthly Machine Budgeting
∎ Train production staff on the importance of productivity improvement
∎ Monitor Man-Machine Ratio
∎ Reduce wastage
∎ Strive for continuous improvement
∎ Prepare and follow up thread consumption
