∎ UCEP Bangladesh, a leading non-governmental organization, founded by New Zealand philanthropist Mr. Lindsey Allan Cheyne in 1972 has been playing significant role in shaping the lives of thousands of underprivileged children and youth across the country since 1972. With the motto "Help to learn, Skills to Earn", UCEP Bangladesh provides Life Skills Technical Education, Technical and Vocational Education & Training (TVET), Skills Development and Decent Employment opportunities to underprivileged, women, youth, PWDs and indigenous people. Annually, around 35,000 students are educated by vocational training and technical education through our 36 Technical schools, 12 TVET Institutes, 08 technical outreach centers, and 02 polytechnics.
∎ UCEP Bangladesh has been working in all 08 divisions in Bangladesh through its 08 regions including Dhaka (North & South), Gazipur, Chattogram, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Job Purpose: The Senior Officer, Training & Organizational Development will contribute to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of Human Resource functions especially in the OD, Training & Operational Development of UCEP Bangladesh at central and regional level including other entities of UCEP Bangladesh in line with UCEP Bangladesh`s values, vision, mission, goals and relevant country laws.

∎ Nature of Job: Fixed-Term Contractual Staff
∎ Job Location: UCEP Head office, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To lead the development of a comprehensive capacity-building strategy & yearly / Monthly training calendar based on TNA & organizational strategy.
∎ Prepare training budget, develop training modules, facilitate training/sessions, monitor and evaluate /ROI and disseminate findings and follow up in a professional way, using both internal and external resources.
∎ Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining the talent management processes including employer branding, employee retention, succession planning etc.
∎ Assist to develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction.
∎ Contribute to developing strategies, and policies to improve staff engagement in line with organizational values, vision, mission, goals and relevant country laws.
∎ Identify and share both internal and external best practices to benchmark HR activities and their qualities.
∎ Ensure to development of the existing and new staff members' KRA and KPI according to the Job Description and work plan.
∎ Contribute to developing leadership and career development plans and ensure implementation based on succession planning.
∎ Design, conduct and coordinate Orientation and Induction programs.
∎ Contribute to developing and regularly maintaining the various types of HR reports including PPT and day to-day/regular HR operational activities.
∎ Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Management as and when necessary.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 05 years of proven experience in the field of HR.
∎ Excellent communication & Presentation skill both in Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer operating skills, including MS Office packages, the latest HR related software and tools.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable, dynamic team player and passion for social development works.
∎ Hardworking, can-do attitude, Work under pressure and willingness to travel outside Dhaka.
∎ NGO/INGO background will be given preference.
∎ The age limit for the applicant maximum of 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
