Experience:
Minimum Master’s degree in any discipline (Preferably in Business Administration/ Law/ Finance/ Accounting).
Experience:
Minimum 08 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in Welfare Trusts / Trust Funds will be given preference.
Other Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Excellent writing skills, particularly in drafting meeting minutes, reports and proposals.
Good understanding of compliance, governance and statutory requirements.
Proficient in MS Office applications and digital documentation systems.
Strong organizational, analytical and multitasking abilities.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed, with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to travel as required.
Age limit: Age limit for the applicant would be maximum 40 years. Management reserves right to make exceptions based on qualifications and experience.
Job Purpose:
The Coordinator - Welfare Trust is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the overall welfare-related initiatives, financial operations, and administrative activities of the UCEP Welfare Trust. The role ensures proper governance, transparent fund management, member support services and the effective implementation of welfare policies, in alignment with UCEP Welfare Trust’s values, policies and donor/regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Welfare Trust Fund Management;
Oversee the collection, allocation, and disbursement of welfare funds in accordance with approved policies.
Maintain accurate and transparent financial records of contributions, loans, grants, and benefits.
Prepare periodic financial reports and submit them to relevant authorities/committees.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the Welfare Trust’s fund mobilization.
Policy Implementation, Governance, Compliance & Legal;
Ensure proper adherence to Welfare Trust rules, regulations, and statutory requirements.
Recommend updates to welfare policies and guidelines as required.
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
Communicate with lawyers, Land Office, Registry Office, DC Office, and other relevant government offices, including secretariat, as and when required.
Member & Beneficiary Services;
Maintain a database of Trust members, beneficiaries, and welfare activities.
Identify and engage with potential donors, partners and philanthropists.
Reporting & Communication;
Provide regular reports to senior management, committee members, and auditors.
Ensure effective communication regarding trust programs and updates.
Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries as required.
Planning, Development, Administrative and Operational Supports;
Identify new welfare initiatives to enhance member support and organizational well-being.
Conduct research and benchmarking to improve welfare trust fund.
Prepare annual activity plans and budgets for the Welfare Trust.
Organize Trustee Board meetings, preparation, relevant documentation and logistics.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and documentation for the Welfare Trust Committee.
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth welfare operations.
Maintain an organized and secure repository of all Trust-related records, decisions and documents.
Ensure confidentiality, timely reporting and effective documentation practices.
Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks of the Welfare Trust.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management or Trustee Board as and where needed.
