Masters or a Post Graduate degree in relevant field, preferably in Social Science
At least 3 years’ working experience in the relevant field including 3 years in management or supervisory position. Demonstrated experience in Child Protection Case Management, preferably in humanitarian or emergency context.
Child protection in Emergency, Case Management, inter-agency guidelines, and SOPs, Supervision and Coaching tools
UNCRC and other Human Rights instruments
Understanding of rights based/child rights programming.
Knowledge & skill to analyse Human Rights and Child Rights situation in the global, national and local level.
Project Cycle Management
Program planning, budgeting, & M&E, and oversight of CP Case Management service
Conflict Management and Problem-Solving Skills
People Management Skills (supervising skills)
Ability to provide technical guidance, coaching, and quality assurance for Child Protection Case Management.

The Opportunity
Technical Specialist – Child Protection has the responsibility of providing technical leadership and expertise in Case management, CP assessment, response analysis, design, coordination, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of the child protection intervention in the Rohingya response.
S/he will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the project by providing technical support to ensure protection and wellbeing of the children in the project location by strengthening case management systems, referral pathways, and service delivery; documentation of all key activities, lessons learnt, and good practices of Rohingya response program including oversight the Child Protection Information Management System and Case Management data flows. S/he will oversee the work of project officers in effective operation of Child Protection facilities, quality case management service and timely response to key child protection risks in emergencies. This includes support for children associated with armed groups, unaccompanied and separated children, and child survivors of violence, abuse and exploitation.
