Job Context:
∎ Apparel export merchandising may be defined as `all the planning & activities involved right from the buyer communication & order receiving till the execution or shipment of the order.
∎ The major role of senior merchandiser is monitoring an order, first to last. Merchandiser also acts role to maintain accelerate the working execution speed. The senior merchandiser as more experiences must be autonomous in his job and is the real support for the merchandiser manager
∎ Most important factors have to maintain a merchandiser:
∎ Communication
∎ Planning
∎ Production

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To maintain professional relationship between buyer and manufacturer.
∎ To maintain communication with marketing/sales director and with customers local offices
∎ To select factories where to place orders
∎ To source new factories if needed
∎ To prepare the order costing and price quoting. With manager review
∎ To collect the PO (purchase order) from buyer.
∎ To communicate with commercial department about PI and LC opening
∎ To prepare an order plan, according to the right product, in the right place, at the right time, in the right quantities, at the right price, in the right promotion.
∎ To break down the order sheet.
∎ To Maintain merchandising files (checklist, , tech-pack, purchase order, approved trim card,
∎ To set up the TNA
∎ To maintain merchandising files and updating time and action plan (TNA).
∎ To monitor the garments sample process according to the buyer requirement.
∎ To collect the all of garments fabric, accessories & trims.
∎ To get lab dips.
∎ To ensure buyer approval, for all type of samples.
∎ To Ensure raw- materials In- House: Merchandiser ensure all raw materials are in -house as per requirements.
∎
∎ To make sure productions follow up.
∎ To maintain product quality.
∎ To get all test reports as per buyer requirement
∎ To give all information to Quality controller
∎ To organize inspection with 3rd part inspection companies
∎ To maintain merchandising files and updating time and action plan (TNA).
∎ To follow Product development (Sampling) for marketing
∎ To make sure all new items ate in the showroom
∎ To share and request information from other merchandiser about customers and process
∎ To share experiences and advises with merchandisers

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 10 year on relevant field (Buying house)
∎ Communication with Buyers
∎ The behavior of the merchandiser tells a lot on his ability to succeed, indeed it is necessary to
∎ To be regular in office attendance

Salary: Tk. 40000 - 50000 (Monthly)
