Job Context:
∎ Merchandiser responsibilities include:
∎ Planning and developing merchandising strategies
∎ Analyzing sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs
∎ Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting activities for woven product development.
∎ Coordinate design, marketing, modeling, and woven product development with materials purchasing team.
∎ Sourcing of all raw materials for making accurate samples.
∎ All access sourcing for woven product development.
∎ Create a sample requirement chart and follow up for each buyer.
∎ Make sure that samples are match the initial request technical files, picture, drawings ...
∎ Sourcing of different and new fabric from supplier and offer to buyer
∎ Create a measurement sheet & pattern Database.
∎ Having good technical knowledge.
∎ Work closely with the designer to develop with samples of prints, embroidery with any ornament.
∎ Once the order is confirmed, send all the style information to the production merchandiser.
∎ Make sure all marketing pictures are taken from all advanced developed samples.
∎ Additional Job Responsibility: Communication with Buyers
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience: 3-5 year on relevant field (Buying house)
∎ Ability to create halo effect.
∎ Ability to calculate fast & accurate.
∎ Decision making.
∎ Business communication skill.
∎ Ability to convince buyer.
∎ Ability to work with team member.
∎ Good analytical capability.
∎ Enough knowledge of garments industry.
∎ Basic computer skills of office application.
∎ Hard worker & self motivation.
∎ Organization skills.
∎ Can work under pressure.
∎ High attention to details.
∎ Ability to give realistic schedules.
∎ Passionate about fashion industry.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
