Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor / Masters in any discipline or relevant degree.
∎ B.Sc. in Textile (Apparel Merchandising) will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 10 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Merchandizing responsibility is to manage the overall marketing, product development, raw material procurement, and production follow-up activities in order to ensure customer satisfaction and the final profitability of the company. To develop and maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of business functions, technical product understanding, exceptional budgeting and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities.
∎ Job Location Gulshan-2, Dhaka (Ananta Corporate Office)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Advanced level of English communication skills (both verbal and written) is mandatory.
∎ Excellent knowledge of different types of knit products, including lingerie and/or active wear experience is mandatory.
∎ Ability to work with customers for all bulk orders and sampling.
∎ Able to read and follow tech packs, and technical sheets & understand customer requirements.
∎ Preparation of cost sheet and price negotiation skills with Customers.
∎ Experience working with overseas suppliers for raw material sourcing and development.
∎ Negotiate with raw material & fabric suppliers.
∎ Work with fabric mill & trim suppliers to develop new products to meet customer requirements & cost constraints.
∎ Work with technical and product development teams to ensure timely and accurate sample submissions.
∎ Good knowledge of fabric, consumption & order as well as following up the customer POs, grieve booking, and capacity booking.
∎ Update planning teams with accurate information on RM dates/PDC/customer delivery/mode of transport/FOB/CM/SMV etc.
∎ Work on ERP and Fast React systems assigned by the company.
∎ Follow up all documentation related to finance & commercial, both imports & exports.
∎ Ability to work and follow up the critical path / T&A from developments until shipment and update daily and weekly basis.
∎ Follow up and Coordinate with the Planning team for capacity allocation, and be responsible for on-time delivery.
∎ Work closely with Production, Quality, and Packing departments and follow up on a daily basis to meet final shipment on time.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Knit Garments, Lingerie & Active Wear
∎ Work Experience outside Bangladesh or with multi-national companies will be given preference.
∎ Previous work experience with ERP systems will be considered positively.
∎ Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written.
∎ Should be a good team player who can make decisions individually.
∎ Strong quantitative skills and use of MS Excel, Data Analytics, Statistical Modelling, etc.
∎ Strong presentation skills and use of MS PowerPoint, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. will be given preference
