∎ Job Purpose:
∎ We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join us as Senior Manager, Finance & Banking Relationship, Finance and Accounts programme. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide support in formulating, implementing, and managing effective and efficient financial operational processes with appropriate financial controls within the organisation. Through your expertise, you will play a vital role in ensuring financial stability, growth, and risk management by strategically managing the financial relationships and resources of BRAC.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in managing the business cash flows and liquidity by making sure it has enough money to meet its short and long-term objectives and forecasts cash flow position.
∎ Manage foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, and relationships with regulators, rating agencies, and creditors.
∎ Ensure fund availability and fund utilization in all branches of BRAC across Bangladesh through effective fund management and related borrowing need analysis.
∎ Ensure all financial information is accurate and on time and in adherence to local laws, regulations and compliances.
∎ Support to identify, assess and manage financial risks, monitor external market conditions, and liaise with investors, bankers, and senior managers.
∎ Coordinate with internal and external auditors by responding to audit requirements/reports and taking necessary corrective measures.
∎ Review financial reports, process, systems and structure regularly to optimize efficiency and to ensure consistency to strengthen the overall financial control systems of BRAC.
∎ Support the management of investment exposures and interest rate risk.
∎ Monitor the transactions of BRAC bank accounts.
∎ Analyze and oversee risk management, financial control and taxation reporting.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of working experience in the relevant sector. (Work experience in Finance, Audit, Banking and Treasury will be an added advantage)
∎ Sound knowledge of Finance, Auditing, Banking & Treasury Functions
∎ Adequate knowledge of banking relationships and covenants
∎ Analytical ability and technical expertise in cash flow management
∎ Interpersonal skills with good communication skills in both Bengali and English
