Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide expert guidance and mentoring to mid-level Laravel developers, assisting them in improving their tasks coding skills and problem-solving abilities for the e-commerce website.
∎ Review and assess the quality of Laravel backend and JavaScript frontend code (Javascript), ensuring it aligns with project sprints, security standards, and optimal performance.
∎ Offer general direction on performance - enhancing website loading speed, optimizing database queries, effective caching mechanisms and improving server response times.
∎ Oversee generic security audits, network vulnerability assessments, and strategies for managing traffic abnormalities, rogue penetrations and cyber attacks.
∎ Assess and recommend improvements to the overall application architecture.
∎ Help oversee Live Production Git Pushes
∎ High-Level advise to developers for upcoming tasks so they can maintain schedule deadline
∎ Act as gatekeeper to code base
∎ Assist in tracking and resolving complex bugs via small development (if Juniors are unable to fix) and technical challenges within the Laravel application.
∎ Help scoping of new functional requirements and task timing for developers
∎ Collaborate with the team to improve code documentation, ensuring it remains accurate and up-to-date.
∎ Implement and enforce coding standards, testing procedures, and quality assurance processes to maintain code reliability.
∎ Share acquired knowledge and insights with the development team to foster growth.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Laravel
∎ Proven experience in code review and mentoring junior or mid-level developers is preferred
∎ Working experience in a multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace is preferred
∎ Proficiency in Laravel, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
∎ Strong understanding of modern web development principles and best practices
∎ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
∎ Up-to-date knowledge of Laravel and web development trends
