Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop, test and deploy high-quality product
∎ Assist in planning, designing, and executing solutions from scratch
∎ Collaborate with the project manager and front-end development team to understand the requirements and deliver solutions
∎ Help develop easy-to-upgrade, intuitive, and well-documented stacks
∎ Work with a holistic SDLC (agile) and test-oriented approach for diagnosing, debugging, and upgrading applications
∎ Mentor the junior team member
∎ Optimize website performance and scalability
∎ Collaborate with designers & developers to implement new features as well as good user experience
∎ Write clean code
∎ Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
∎ Developing and maintaining website architecture that is optimized for search engine visibility
∎ Implement server-side logic to process front inputs
∎ Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise especially via logs
∎ Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Laravel and related technologies
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 32 years
∎ Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering
∎ A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Backend Developer, with relevant architectural experience
∎ Have leading attitude
∎ Working experience in multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace is PREFERRED
∎ Strong understanding of the MVC design patterns and Object-Oriented Programming is a must
∎ Demonstrated proficiency in working with PHP 8+ (Laravel), MySQL, and Blade
∎ Solid working experience in creating RESTful APIs
∎ Must have proficiency working on cPanel, Eloquent ORM
∎ Experience with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket
∎ Experience with Server-end troubleshooting
∎ Query optimization and raw query expertise are required
∎ Advanced functions require knowledge of Laravel API and passport
∎ Has followed any Waterfall, Scrum, or Agile development methodologies
∎ Have experience working in Project Mgmt tools such as Jira or ClickUp
∎ Previous experience in mobile app development will be a plus
∎ Adherence to cyber security guidelines
∎ Ability to create various diagrams, flowcharts, models, and documentation to assist programmers in understanding the type of code required
∎ At least 2 personal projects developed using PHP (Laravel)
