Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors/Masters in Development Studies/ Business Management/ Sociology/ Commerce/ Anthropology and any other relevant subject from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the field technical officers in gender-inclusive need assessment and selecting mostly female-headed MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) for enterprise productivity improvement training and access to finance.
∎ Support the field technical officers in value chain analysis and value chain development of MSMEs in different sectors. Provide support to develop market linkage of the enterprises.
∎ Ensure enterprise productivity improvement training of the selected MSMEs in business development, decent work and technical upgradation.
∎ Provide support to the field technical officer in conduction of training on enterprise productivity improvement to the enterprises to ensure higher productivity of the MSME owners.
∎ Provide support in ensuring follow up workshops on the enterprise productivity improvement training of the selected MSMEs.
∎ Provide support to the field technical officer in providing market linkage, customer engagement, and business development support to the enterprise owners.
∎ Support the field technical officer to prepare the guideline of a decent work environment, take the lead role in building staff capacity on implementing the guideline, monitoring and ensuring necessary support for ensuring decent work in the targeted MSMEs.
∎ Support the Programme Coordinator to organise roundtables on access to finance, organise workshops at divisional and local level on access to finance with the financial institutions. Provide technical support to prepare all promotional material as per project requirements.
∎ Provide support and maintain strong relationship with the MEAL team for proper data collection and analysis. Coordinate with other relevant persons of SDP and BRAC for ensuring effective implementation of project goals.
∎ Ensure proper documentation of lesson learned, best practices, etc. and support the Programme Coordinator in preparing the periodic report including MIS report, progress report, interim report, etc. Provide support in hiring consultants, conducting key informant interviews, etc.
∎ Maintain relationships with the local government administrations to ensure proper coordination with relevant parties for successful project implementation.
∎ Provide support in selecting a specific number of MSMEs for customised loan products.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3- 5 years professional experience in development sector.
∎ Candidates having work experiences in value chain development, market development, decent work, safeguarding and working with MSMEs owners of different sectors, local government & administration, financial institutes, partnership building and networking, organising workshops and meeting, and staff capacity building, supervision and monitoring will get preference.
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding of market linkage, enterprise development, gender and decent work environment.
∎ Strong management including field management, leadership, communication, networking and team building skills.
∎ Competencies on market linkage and facilitation.
∎ Proficiency in different computer applications.
