Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise sampling and analysis of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
Maintain detailed and accurate QC records, lab results and product release documentation.
Strong knowledge on product developments such as bakery, sauce, paste, liquid milk, drinking water, oil, ghee, spices and cocoa-chocolate.
Oversee routine testing of raw materials.in-process materials and finished goods and review test reports.
Approve incoming raw materials for use in production based on test results and specifications.
Perform root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for non-conformities.
Prepare and analyze samples (raw materials, in-process, and finished products) using Gas Chromatography (GC) and Spectrophotometer.
Operate, and maintain Gas Chromatography (GC) and UV-Visible Spectrophotometer.
Assist in method development, optimization and validation of GC and UV-Vis methods according to approved method.
Conduct line checks, hygiene audits, sensory evaluations and packaging verifications.
Handling of customer complaint
Maintain and calibration of all lab instruments such as Gas Chromatography(GC),UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, pH meter, moisture analyzer and other lab instruments.
Ensure in-process testing is completed timely and any deviations are reported and addressed immediately.
Good knowledge on laboratory testing. method validation and ISO related documentation.
