• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

• Candidates with additional training/experience in Façade Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation or Project Management will get preference.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.

• At least 3–5 years of practical experience in Aluminium, Glass, Curtain Wall or Building Façade Projects is highly preferred.

• Experience in preparing project cost estimates from drawings and handling multiple commercial/high-rise façade projects will be an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Façade Project Execution & Site Management.

• Practical knowledge of Curtain Wall, Structural Glazing, Aluminium & Glass Installation.

• Strong knowledge of BOQ, Estimation, Project Costing, Billing & Quantity Surveying.

• Ability to prepare accurate material, labour and project cost estimates from architectural, structural and façade drawings.

• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and façade drawings.

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Strong command of MS Excel, Word and Project Reporting.

• Knowledge of MS Project/Primavera will be an added advantage.

• Strong manpower and subcontractor management skills.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project sites.

Job Context

• Anglo Eastern Commodity Ltd. is looking for an experienced and technically sound Senior Civil Engineer – Façade Works to supervise, coordinate and execute our ongoing Aluminium, Glass & Building Façade Projects.

• The candidate must have strong practical experience in project execution, site management, quality control, BOQ, estimation, cost calculation, billing, material planning and manpower management.

• Candidates having direct experience in the Glass, Aluminium, Curtain Wall and Façade Industry will be given strong preference.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and execute Aluminium, Glass & Façade Works at different project sites.

• Manage and monitor Curtain Wall, Semi-Unitized/Unitized Façade, Structural Glazing, Spider Glazing, ACP Cladding, Glass Railing, Canopy, Skylight, Louvers, Aluminium Doors & Windows and related works.

• Ensure all site works are executed according to approved drawings, BOQ, specifications and project requirements.

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly work plans and project progress reports.

• Monitor project schedules and take necessary action to ensure timely completion.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, subcontractors and internal project teams.

• Review architectural, structural and façade shop drawings before execution.

• Coordinate with the Design/AutoCAD team regarding shop drawings, site measurements and drawing revisions.

• Prepare and verify BOQ, quantity take-off, project cost estimates, material requirements and project measurements.

• Prepare project cost estimates based on approved drawings, specifications, quantities, material rates, labour costs, equipment costs, wastage, overheads and applicable profit margins.

• Compare estimated costs with actual project costs and identify cost variations.

• Prepare/check Running Bills, Final Bills, Variation/Additional Work Bills and subcontractor bills.

• Monitor aluminium, glass, hardware, silicone and other façade material requirements and consumption.

• Ensure proper quality control (QA/QC) of materials, fabrication and installation works.

• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, technicians and installation teams.

• Manage subcontractors and site manpower to achieve project targets.

• Monitor productivity and minimize material wastage and rework.

• Identify technical/site problems and provide practical solutions in coordination with the project/design team.

• Attend client/consultant site meetings and follow up on observations and instructions.

• Ensure proper site measurements before fabrication and installation.

• Coordinate material delivery, fabrication and installation schedules.

• Prepare snag lists and ensure timely rectification.

• Ensure completion of all remaining works before project handover.

• Assist in preparation and verification of As-Built Drawings and Final Measurements.

• Maintain proper project documentation, site records, measurement sheets, cost estimates and progress reports.

• Ensure compliance with company quality and site safety requirements.
