• Hands-on experience with PVC Pipe Extrusion Machines, PVC Fittings Injection Molding Machines, and Roto Molding Machines will be preferred.

• Practical knowledge of preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with Production, Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams.

• Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts as required by plant operations.

Job Context:

Fresh Polymer and Paints Limited (FPPL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is setting up a polymer manufacturing facility at the Comilla Economic Zone, Bangladesh. The plant will manufacture high-quality uPVC WPC doors and uPVC foam sheets to meet growing market demand. To support reliable, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations, MGI is looking for dynamic, technically sound, and self-motivated Sub Assistant Engineers – Maintenance. The incumbents will be responsible for supporting preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities, equipment inspection, troubleshooting, repair coordination, and maintenance documentation to minimize equipment downtime and ensure safe and smooth production operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of production machines to ensure smooth and reliable plant operation.

• Monitor machine performance and attend mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime and improve machine reliability.

• Maintain and troubleshoot plant utilities, including Chiller, Cooling Water System, Compressor, and related equipment, to ensure uninterrupted utility services.

• Inspect production machinery and equipment to identify abnormalities and support timely corrective actions.

• Identify recurring machine problems and implement appropriate corrective measures to prevent repeated failures.

• Coordinate with Production teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities and uninterrupted machine operation.

• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, maintenance records, and other required documentation.

• Coordinate with external technicians, suppliers, and service providers when required to ensure timely completion of specialized maintenance work.

• Ensure safe maintenance practices and compliance with applicable maintenance SOPs and safety requirements.

• Assist in the effective utilization and proper handling of maintenance tools, spare parts, and other resources.

• Support maintenance improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability and overall plant efficiency.
