• B.Sc. in Architecture or relevant technical discipline.

• At least 5 years

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred.

• Candidate should have practical experience in Glass, Aluminium & Façade Industry.

• Candidates having experience with reputed façade, curtain wall, aluminium or architectural companies will get preference.

Required Skills

• Excellent command of AutoCAD 2D.

• Strong knowledge of Façade Shop Drawing & Detailing.

• Good understanding of Aluminium Profiles, Glass, Hardware, Brackets, Anchors and Façade Accessories.

• Ability to understand architectural and structural drawings.

• Knowledge of BOQ, Material Take-Off & Cutting List Preparation.

• Knowledge of SketchUp / Revit / 3D software will be an added advantage.

• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Good coordination and communication skills.

Job Context

• Anglo Eastern Commodity Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior AutoCAD Operator / Architect with strong practical experience in Aluminium, Glass & Building Façade Works.

• Candidates having direct working experience in façade companies and strong knowledge of shop drawings, fabrication drawings and façade detailing will be given preference.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings and fabrication drawings for façade projects.

• Prepare drawings for Curtain Wall, Semi-Unitized/Unitized Systems, Structural Glazing and Spider Glazing.

• Prepare detailed drawings for Aluminium Doors & Windows, Glass Railing, Canopy, Skylight and Louvers.

• Prepare ACP/Aluminium Cladding drawings and details.

• Prepare aluminium profile details, sections, elevations, fixing details and installation drawings.

• Prepare Glass & Aluminium Cutting Lists and material schedules.

• Prepare BOQ and material quantity take-off from architectural and façade drawings.

• Review architectural, structural and relevant project drawings and develop façade solutions accordingly.

• Prepare and revise drawings based on consultant/client comments and site conditions.

• Conduct site measurements and prepare accurate drawings based on actual site conditions.

• Prepare As-Built Drawings after completion of projects.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Production/Fabrication Team and Management.

• Identify drawing/design conflicts and provide practical technical solutions.

• Maintain proper drawing revisions and project documentation.

• Ensure accuracy of dimensions, specifications and technical details before releasing drawings for fabrication/site execution.
