Service Engineer
Initial Vehicle Inspection & Fault Reporting: Perform primary visual checks, record baseline customer complaints, and conduct basic scanner diagnostics to log fault codes before passing the vehicle to technicians.
Assisting Routine Servicing: Supervise and assist in day-to-day periodic maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, brake servicing, and wheel alignment checks.
Job Card Creation & Record Keeping: Prepare detailed vehicle intake job cards, log parts replacement requirements, and maintain accurate daily service records in the workshop database.
Spare Parts & Requisition Handling: Coordinate with the parts store to verify required component availability, check part numbers, and raise requisitions for upcoming jobs.
Quality Checklists & Inspection: Conduct post-service checklists on completed vehicles to verify repair quality, check fluid levels, and confirm tool return before final customer delivery.
Workshop Safety & Process Compliance: Enforce daily safety standards, ensure proper tool usage on the shop floor, and assist senior engineers in organizing technician workflows.
