• Must have updated authorized Electrical Supervisor License

• Good knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and power distribution

• Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Experience in working on Solar System

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience

• Experience in Fire Safety Management in Warehouse, Off Dock/ ICD will be an added advantage.

KDS Logistics Ltd., the logistics wing of KDS Group, situated in Chittagong; has been leading the ICD/OFF DOCK industry since a long time with the best-in-class services to its clients. We are looking for young, energetic, dynamic, self-motivated and proactive person to perform the role of a Sr. Engineer / Engineer for “Electrical Department” under “Administration”. The incumbent will have to play the role in the dynamic ICD/OFF Dock Industry.

May do shifting duty based on requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Making schedules, assigning work, and providing training to electricians.

• Motivating electricians to increase productivity and achieve work goals.

• Ensuring proper maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.

• Assisting with electrical system installation, troubleshooting, and repair as required.

• Performing administrative duties, including purchasing supplies, maintaining inventory, planning budgets, preparing cost estimates, and preparing month-wise electrical cost reports.

• Maintaining detailed records of all activities and monitoring plant operating equipment.

• Updating maintenance reports, including preventive and ongoing maintenance activities.

• Updating and maintaining electrical documents and records.

• Handling electrical load requirements and ensuring proper load distribution.

• Coordinating with electrical contractors for electrification, execution, and erection works.

• Providing complete electrical solutions as per operational requirements.

• Maintaining the Detailed Project Report (DPR).

• Organizing and attending weekly meetings with technicians and other associated staff to review electrical and fire safety maintenance operations.

• Checking weekly maintenance and operational reports.

• Assist in preparing electricity bills and related cost reports.

• Basic knowledge of fire safety requirements, fire prevention, and emergency response procedures.

• Ensuring electrical installations and maintenance activities comply with fire safety standards to minimize electrical fire risks.

• Identifying potential electrical fire hazards, such as overloaded circuits, damaged cables, loose connections, and faulty equipment, and taking corrective action.

• Coordinating with the concerned Fire Safety team regarding electrical fire hazards, emergency systems, and fire safety-related maintenance requirements.

• Assist in periodic inspection and maintenance of electrical fire safety systems, such as emergency lighting, exit signs, and fire alarm-related electrical components.

• Performing any other tasks as assigned by Management.
