∎ Masters preferably in business background or any relevant discipline from reputed university.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic:
∎ Participate in strategic planning of Monitoring department and assist to update Monitoring Plan
∎ Operational:
∎ Implement development programs, enterprises and support functions monitoring workplan
∎ Design surveys initially, identify parameters and sampling
∎ Prepare questionnaire by taking inputs of stakeholders and coordinate with Data Officers for developing digital tool
∎ Train the Monitoring Officers on the survey process and data collection
∎ Ensure data quality through various methods
∎ Analyse data to prepare the reports of studies
∎ Communication of study results through presentations to stakeholders
∎ Prepare learnings from the studies based on stakeholder feedback
∎ Regular periodic verification of activities with checklists (MIS verification) of various programs
∎ Conduct extensive field visits for collecting data.
∎ People skills:
∎ Maintain regular coordination with assigned programs and monitoring staffs
∎ Capacity development of Monitoring Officers: need assessment, planning, conduct training, follow up.
∎ Knowledge management:
∎ Support continuous analysis of monitoring information in coordination with other units; and identify potential problem and inputs to improve the overall programming and operations.
∎ Assist to jointly conduct reflection and learning sessions regularly with the various Programs and functions
∎ Arrange for proper archiving of learnings
∎ Administrative:
∎ Supervise the Monitoring Officers in data collection, quality assurance.
∎ Safeguarding:
∎ Ensure direct supervision of respective field level staffs. Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of working experience in development sector from any national/ international development organisation. Knowledge of education/ health/ economic growth/ empowerment sector in Bangladesh is desired. Recent experience with international development organisations will be a plus.
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ Provide necessary support to the departmental staffs for proper implementation of overall monitoring activities.
∎ Represent the Department in various forums.
