Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervising Extension Officer (EO).
∎ Develop TOT training module and provide TOT training to EO
∎ Assistant in formation of fish farmers groups and holding group-based yard meetings.
∎ To provide training to farmers on modern methods of fish farming.
∎ Informing farmers about new technologies related to fish farming.
∎ Providing fish farming advice to farmers.
∎ Encouraging farmers to enroll in Microfinance programmes.
∎ Working with Community Development Officer-claims, Credit Officer-Progress, Branch Manager-claims, Area Manager-claims & progress, and Regional Manager- claims & progress to enroll farmers in Microfinance programme.
∎ Connecting farmers with better quality feed and hatchery representatives.
∎ Coordinating with government representatives and fisheries office.
∎ Assist the farmers in supplying better quality fish farming equipment.
∎ Preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
