Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the quality requirements including monitoring and capacity building to ensure quality education for both Rohingya and host communities by providing technical guidance to project results and deliverables, in accordance with the work plan.
∎ Coordinate with Head of Programme, Education Sector Lead operations, Programme Design, Development, and Review (PDDR) team, Grants Team etc.to develop HCMP strategic planning, policy & procedures, work plan and ensure quality management support on HR, budget, operations align with BRAC strategies.
∎ Develop fund seeking strategy and maintain regular coordination with UN agencies, sector and various development partners to ensure more funds and expanding or diversifying work.
∎ Manage the project’s operational, financial, and administrative priorities; direct the planning and budgeting processes. Create or adapt management systems in line with BRAC’s standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency with sector needs. Serve as the primary liaison among all project stakeholders.
∎ Ensure high standards of results delivery including ongoing adaptation and adjustments to enhance impact.
∎ Ensure efficiency and compliant resource planning and utilization including risk procedures.
∎ With staff and partners, translate project goals and objectives into implementable strategies and plans.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 07 years of progressively responsible and strategic experience in national/ international development sector specially in education.
∎ Sound knowledge of education particularly global education policies and education in humanitarian context.
∎ Excellent understanding of education system of Bangladesh and Myanmar.
∎ Empathetic view about Rohingya context.
∎ Strategic planning and thinking
∎ Advocacy for the sector
∎ Substantial project management experience (planning, monitoring, evaluation) in humanitarian context, including in a leading position
∎ Strategic planning and thinking, management, supervision and budgeting, and experience managing complex activities involving coordination with multiple program partner institutions
∎ Training need assessment
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
∎ Excellent demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills.
∎ Computer skills: MS-Word, MS-excel, PowerPoint etc.
∎ Building and maintaining relationships with governments, donors, other donor-funded projects and stakeholders, local organizations, and partners.
∎ Narrative and financial reporting on complex projects to international donors.
∎ Effective decision making skills for any type of urgent concern.
∎ Good communication among team members and management authorities
