Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Agriculture or other related field from any recognised university/ institution with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide necessary leadership and strategic oversight to Agriculture & Environment, Skills Development Programme (SDP), Livelihood, Ayesha Abed Foundation (AAF(, Ultra Poor Graduation Programme (UPGP) in HCMP to achieve progamme goals and objectives.
∎ Ensure preparation of work plans, budgets, M&E plans and set objectives of Agriculture & Environment, SDP, UPG AAF, and Livelihood so as to ensure well-defined and smooth functioning of regular and time specific tasks.
∎ Ensure efficient and proper management of resources including financial, human and project assets.
∎ Attend management meetings and contribute to overall strategy, guidelines formulation of Agriculture, SDP, UPG, AAF and Livelihood.
∎ Oversee overall project cycle management process of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Ensure proper implementation through monitoring, capacity building, quality inputs supply and effective coordination.
∎ Conduct necessary communication and provide feedback based on reports and observations for necessary actions to ensure proper programme implementation and improvement.
∎ Oversee effective and efficient implementation and managing risks, minimizing internal audit and monitoring at field level of sector activities
∎ Analyse of financial reports and analysis regarding the budget to internal control and compliance in regular basis.
∎ Arrange regular meeting with staffs to get the updates from the field as well as make them updated on new decisions, if any.
∎ Ensure effective contribution in budget management and tracking monitoring burn rates and identifying areas of potential underspent or overspend and communicating to management on timely manner with recommendations on repurposing savings.
∎ Ensure compliance with BRAC and donor rules and regulations
∎ Lead to prepare and submission of report to BRAC and donor
∎ Ensure proper utilization of donor budget and resources
∎ Provide technical guidance to achieve the vision of the Agriculture, SDP, UPG, AAF and Livelihood.
∎ Ensure the development and implementation of a robust M&E plan and tools for data collection
∎ Identify capacity gaps among staff and develop capacity building plans
∎ Ensure sufficient coordination and sector representation at the various camp level mechanisms as well as good working relationships with CiCs and other stake holders
∎ Attend different meetings with donors and other stakeholders.
∎ Maintain liaison with ISCG, RRRC, CiC, donors, local govt. sector and other strategic partners to extend services with ensuring quality.
∎ Ensure participation in sector meeting as when necessary and also attended policy meeting and workshop on humanitarian issues.
∎ Ensure donor agreements such as the PPA/ project documents finalization and submission.
∎ Ensure effective and participative proposal development and concept note writing.
∎ Explore opportunities for fund raising.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years of work experience in livelihood and agriculture sector. Working with vulnerable communities, basic needs and distribution programming experience and/ or advocacy programs is necessary
∎ Have excellent knowledge in agriculture, animal and poultry production and marketing, social welfare, food security and livelihood.
∎ Hands on work experience in skill development and income generating projects
∎ Have excellent proposal and reporting skill.
∎ Have proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
∎ Have clear understanding on Donor Compliance Issues.
∎ Have skill on People Management and Stakeholder Relationship Management.
