Experience:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
Production Planning and Management:
Proficiency in Gerber Accumark Pattern Design, Mark Making and grading.
Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales orders and delivery deadlines.
Allocate tasks and manage the workflow to ensure smooth production operations.
Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed to meet targets.
Identify and resolve any bottlenecks or issues in the production line.
Quality Control:
Implement and enforce strict quality control measures at every stage of production, from fabric cutting to finishing and packing.
Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet company and client specifications.
Address and rectify any quality issues with the team.
Maintain records of quality checks and non-conforming products.
Team Leadership and Supervision:
Supervise, motivate, and train production staff, including cutters, sewing machine operators, and quality checkers.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Resource Management:
Monitor and manage the use of raw materials (towels, thread, labels, etc.) to minimize waste.
Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of materials.
Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of all machinery and equipment.
Identify any equipment needs or malfunctions and report them promptly.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and submit regular production reports, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics.
Maintain accurate records of production data, labor hours, and inventory.
Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and other departments (e.g., Sales, Logistics) regarding production status and issues.
