Ventura Leatherware Mfy (BD) Ltd. a 100% Export Oriented Enterprise in Uttara EPZ, Nilphamari is searching for a suitable candidate for the position of Safety Officer in Compliance Team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety related task, developing, implementing, and maintaining safety protocols in compliance with local and international regulations, including the Bangladesh EPZ Labor Act, Fire Safety Standards.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Ensure fire safety in the workplace by implementing fire safety management strategies and fire prevention measures.

• Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of fire detection systems, fire hydrant operations, fire door installations, and all fire equipment monitoring.

• Conduct scheduled fire safety training sessions, including basic fire safety, fire drills, and Alliance/BRAC fire safety programs.

• Perform safety risk assessments, develop remedial plans, and follow up on corrective actions to mitigate risks effectively.

• Prepare and implement comprehensive emergency action plans and procedures to address potential workplace hazards.

• Conduct regular internal safety audits, report findings, and monitor improvements to ensure compliance.

• Address workplace health and safety issues by ensuring adherence to regulations and fostering a culture of safety.

• Train employees on safety procedures, including the proper use of firefighting equipment’s and fall protection systems, to enhance their safety awareness and preparedness.
