Experience:
Masters in Law / Applied Criminology and Police Management / Public Administration or Masters in relevant discipline.
Certified Security Management Professional from recognized institution will be given preference.
The primary focus of this role is to assist the Senior Officer in HR & Admin in ensuring the safety and security of organization`s UNHCR Project implementing offices and warehouses. Responsibilities include managing grievance handling, ensuring the safety and security of both the Project Management Unit (PMU) office and camp offices. The incumbent will serve as the security focal point, overseeing security protocols, and conducting security training for all staff. The Admin & Compliance Officer will play the role of organization`s UNHCR security focal point, ensuring security training for all staff members. Additionally, he/she will conduct regular security assessments and share the security plan with the senior management.
Safety and Security Management:
Conduct regular security/Risk assessments and address identified vulnerabilities.
Ensure the physical safety and security of PMU office and camp offices.
Implement and maintain security protocols and measures.
Develop and implement security plans and procedures.
Conduct periodic audits to assess adherence to security and compliance standards.
Security Focal Point:
Act as the central contact for all security-related matters.
Liaise with external security agencies to enhance overall security measures.
Participate in the Donors security focal meeting receive the necessary direction and ensure the implementation in the project level.
Training, Documentation and Reporting:
Develop and deliver security training programs for all staff.
Regularly update training materials to reflect evolving security threats.
Coordinate with relevant authorities during crisis situations.
Maintain accurate records of security incidents and grievance resolutions.
Generate periodic reports on security and compliance status.
Grievance Handling & Compliance Monitoring:
Address and resolve grievances promptly and efficiently.
Establish effective communication channels for grievance reporting.
Assist Senior Officer HR & Admin to implementation of the organizational policies.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Emergency Response & Others:
Develop and implement emergency response plans.
Maintain liaison with law enforcing agencies.
Assist HR & Admin Officer in the development and updating of security policies.
Perform other related duties as required.
