Responsibilities & Context:
- Conduct visual and tactile inspections of digitally printed textiles to identify defects, color discrepancies, and print accuracy.
- Monitor the digital printing process to ensure adherence to specifications, including ink usage, print settings, and material handling.
- Work closely with production teams, designers, and suppliers to address quality issues and implement improvements.
- Perform various tests (e.g., colorfastness, washability, abrasion resistance) to ensure fabrics meet industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control measures taken during the printing process.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing printing processes and product quality.
- Provide training to production staff on quality control practices and proper handling of materials.
