Additional Requirements:
  • Age 25 to 40 years
  • Strong technical skills in woven, jersey wear & Sleepwear garments - ie fabric knowledge , garment construction knowledge, and quality inspection skills.
  • Strong problem solving and judgement skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
  • Experience and ability to work with all levels of employees in factories and customers , in a multi-national organization.
  • Good knowledge about the garment production process in factories from sampling until shipment.
  • Strong personal skills and ability to resolve conflict.
  • Able and willing to work under pressure.
  • Good PC knowledge (Windows XP, Word, Excel).


Responsibilities & Context:
  • To support the garment technical and quality functions of the company ( from sampling through to final inspection ) in Bangladesh

  • To manage the garment technologists in their samples evaluation work, coordinating with the local factories and the UK & HK technical teams

  • To manage the QA teams ensuring that all inspections are conducted as per company`s and customers requirements, coordinating with the factories senior management teams

  • Working closely with the merchandising team to ensure that key dates for sampling and inspection are maintained as per company`s & customers expectations.

  • To ensure that all garments produced and shipped by Stuart Peters Ltd approved factories meet Stuart Peters Ltd & its customers quality standards.

  • To conduct inspections at approved factories for all stages of manufacture - i.e. production samples, production follow up inspections, in line inspections, and final inspections

  • To complete all paperwork for the required inspections in the company`s required documentation formats.

  • To attend PP meetings for every style allocated Style files for every style need to be kept in the factory complete and approved with all required information , and maintained until the final shipment of the style, and then returned to the local office

  • To be able to communicate effectively with the Factory management at each of the approved factories to explain any issues found at inspections

  • To be able to communicate effectively with the other members of the QA team and the Technical & QA Manager, and the other SPBD team members ( merch / gar tech / admin/ compliance) to ensure that all necessary information about styles is known.
