∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Check production against signed off pre- prod sample and technical comments.
∎ Check production against comments on spec sheet.
∎ Check production samples that will be sent to UK.
∎ To be aware of what is going through each line, what is coming and what has left.
∎ Continual monitoring,
∎ Ongoing testing and record the results and review these results and look for any trends in defects and methods to eliminate reoccurrence. Should the quality decline further to report to your manageress and increases the amount of effort required in that area.
∎ Inspect production as assigned for defects as shown and instructed.
∎ Report defects to the appropriate manager.
∎ Perform internal QA audits that are compliant with client policies, practices, and procedures.
∎ Support new product development and continuous improvement and by implementing and integrating quality control tools such as in line reports, signed notification by supervisors and managers.
∎ Comply with supplier quality, including audits, controls, and other qualifiers.
∎ Check thread color on production, on machines and ensure thread tensions are always correct.
∎ Extremely detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
∎ Able to interface directly with cross-functional teams.
∎ Ability to review technical documentation, including testing procedures, and design documents.
∎ Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
∎ Line Set-up, raw material, trims and treatment standards, garment construction and quality control.
∎ Approval of all bulk garment inspection reports
∎ Ensure Manager is aware of any quality issues that affect delivery of production on time.
∎ Work with Technical and Production team to resolve any quality issues that arise.
∎ Follow up on any store and/or customer complaints as directed by your Manager
∎ Manage 3rd party inspection process including booking inspections
∎ Manage and develop a quality line and end line checkers.
∎ Ensure inspection occurs in a timely manner and does not interfere with bulk production delivery deadlines wherever possible.
∎ Applicants must be able to demonstrate a solid background in apparel Quality Control
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 4-5 Years' experience required in the buying office. Local buying house experience will be preferable.
∎ Should have good Computer Knowledge.
∎ Candidate with a minimum 8 years' experience required in the buying house.
∎ Local Buying house experience will be Preferable.
∎ The candidate should be technically sound in Garment Quality & manufacturing process and Apparel production.
∎ The applicants should have experience in Quality control/ Audit/ Inspection/ Production in Garments (Woven/Sweater/Knit).
Salary: Negotiable
