Overview:
RFL Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading conglomerates, is seeking a skilled and quality-driven professional for the position of QC In-Charge – RFL Metal & Cable Business. This role is responsible for overseeing quality control activities across metal and cable manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
QC In-Charge will work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain product quality, reduce rejection, and drive continuous improvement. The position requires strong technical expertise, hands-on factory experience, and effective team supervision to support RFL’s commitment to manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.
Ensure quality inspection and control of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products as per approved standards.
Monitor and verify critical quality parameters including conductor size, insulation thickness, electrical resistance, tensile strength, and surface finish.
Conduct routine, random, and final inspections in line with approved QC plans, SOPs, and test methods.
Ensure full compliance with BSTI, IEC, ISO, and internal quality standards across production processes.
Identify quality deviations and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) along with Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, and R&D teams to improve product quality and reduce rejection and rework rates.
Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of testing instruments and measuring equipment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date QC records, inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance documentation.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports to management.
Provide training and guidance to QC team members on quality standards, testing procedures, and safety practices.
Support internal, external, and customer audits by ensuring availability of required documentation and compliance.
