Responsibilities & Context:
1. Business Strategy & Growth:
To develop and implement long-term business strategies.
To identify new market opportunities and business expansion plans.
To establish annual sales, revenue and profit targets.
To lead strategic initiatives to increase market share.
2. Business Development:
To identify new customers, industries and market segments.
To develop strategic partnerships and alliances.
To lead negotiations with major clients and stakeholders.
3. Profitability & Financial Performance:
To monitor business profitability and revenue growth.
To collaborate with Finance, Production, and Supply Chain teams to optimize costs.
To develop pricing strategies based on market conditions and raw material fluctuations.
To ensure efficient utilization of resources.
4. Market Intelligence & Product Development:
To analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
To recommend new product development opportunities.
To work closely with R&D and Production teams to launch innovative products.
To monitor industry regulations and sustainability trends.
5. Operations Coordination:
To coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics departments.
To ensure product availability and timely delivery.
To resolve operational bottlenecks affecting business performance.
6. Sales & Marketing Leadership:
To oversee national sales operations.
To develop sales strategies for plastic products, including industrial, packaging, household and specialty plastics.
To monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of targets.
To strengthen distributor, dealer and key customer networks.
