Position Purpose:
To lead and oversee manufacturing and production processes of Embellishment. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective production of goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality and meeting shipment schedules. Also responsible for strategic planning and strong leadership that will ensure the optimization of resources, raw materials, and equipment to achieve production goals and foster a culture of achievement and continuous improvement in printing and embroidery.
Production Planning & Management:
Spearhead the Plan and establishment of efficient work schedules, assignments, and production sequences that align with production goals and meet buyers' shipment schedules.
Direct and coordinate the activities of employees, optimizing the utilization of resources and raw materials to enhance the company's production of goods.
Lead by example, taking ownership of functional responsibilities and driving efficiency.
Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Process Control:
Implement effective control measures for equipment, systems, raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques to optimize manufacturing and distribution of goods.
Evaluate product specifications of the company and suppliers, comparing them to customer requirements.
Printing Process Standardization and Documentation:
Establish clear and standardized printing methods, working closely with colleagues to define printing procedures.
Implement and maintain comprehensive controls and documentation procedures.
Facilitate collaboration among staff from different disciplines, ensuring the development of thorough printing procedures.
Compliance and Documentation Management:
Collaborate with customers and auditors to ensure compliance with specifications and implement corrective actions when needed.
Prepare concise and informative documents such as customers' charters.
Operations Support and Training:
Address unit, customer, and employee concerns, providing guidance on equipment operations, work procedures, and safety protocols.
Regularly engage with managers and staff to address production or job quality issues and seek resolutions to cost-related problems with vendors.
Provide hands-on training to new employees on equipment operations, work procedures, and safety protocols.
Development and Continuous Improvement:
Inspire, develop, and guide individuals in their work, identifying the most suitable candidates for each job.
Foster a culture of achievement and continuous improvement in printing and embroidery throughout the organization.
