Experience:
Formal project management certification: PMP (PMI) or PRINCE2
Practitioner SAP Activate methodology certification, or documented delivery experience using SAP Activate/ ASAP methodology.
SAP certification in at least one core module (e.g., SAPS/4HANA PP, MM, or FI) or SAPS/4HANA project management credentials.
Agile/hybrid delivery certification(e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe) for managing iterative realization sprints.
SAP implementation experience in the textile, RMG, or apparel manufacturing sector— ideally in a vertically integrated environment (spinning/knitting/dyeing/garments).
Prior implementation experience in Bangladesh or South Asia, with working knowledge of local statutory requirements (VAT/Mushak, AIT, bond/customs, export incentives) and RMG business practices (back-to-back LC, UD, buyer compliance).
Experience migrating from local/regional ERP platforms(such as Logic ERP or comparable systems) to SAP.
Experience with RISE with SAP or cloud-based S/4HANA deployments.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
Lead the successful end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation by driving ERP solution and implementation partner selection, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery, and governing all phases of the project.
Ensure seamless business process integration, accurate data migration, effective organizational change management, and the establishment of a sustainable SAP governance and support framework that enables long-term business value.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-Project: ERP & Partner Selection
Lead the definition of the SAP solution scope, deployment strategy, and implementation approach while managing the RFP, partner evaluation, contract negotiation, and project governance framework.
Project Initiation
Establish the project foundation by securing approvals, mobilizing cross-functional teams, setting up the PMO, and aligning stakeholders through a formal project kickoff.
Project Planning
Develop and manage the integrated project plan, ensuring timelines, quality standards, dependencies, and milestones are aligned with business priorities and SAP Activate methodology.
Business Process Mapping
Lead the documentation and redesign of end-to-end business processes, driving standardization and SAP best practices across the entire manufacturing value chain.
Requirement Gathering
Facilitate structured business requirement collection, ensuring all functional needs are documented, validated, prioritized, and formally approved by process owners.
Gap Analysis
Conduct fit-gap analysis to minimize customization by prioritizing standard SAP functionality while evaluating the business impact, cost, and risks of required enhancements.
SAP Solution Design
Oversee the end-to-end SAP solution architecture, ensuring seamless integration, compliance, and alignment with business operations and reporting requirements.
Blueprint Validation
Validate and obtain formal approval of the SAP solution blueprint, ensuring design quality, stakeholder alignment, and controlled management of post-approval changes.
Master Data Strategy
Define and govern enterprise master data standards while ensuring data quality, consistency, and readiness for SAP implementation.
Data Migration
Lead the end-to-end migration of master and transactional data from Logic ERP to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data accuracy, reconciliation, and business sign-off.
Integration Management
Manage all SAP integrations with internal and external systems, ensuring reliable interface design, testing, and third-party readiness.
Custom Development (RICEFW) Management
Govern all SAP custom developments through disciplined scope control, technical quality assurance, and alignment with business priorities.
Change Management
Drive organizational change through stakeholder engagement, structured communication, training, and user adoption initiatives to ensure successful SAP transition.
Risk Management
Establish and manage project risk and issue governance, proactively mitigating implementation risks and ensuring business continuity throughout the project lifecycle.
Budget Management
Develop, monitor, and control the project budget while managing commercial changes, optimizing costs, and ensuring financial accountability.
Vendor Management
Manage implementation partners and vendors to ensure contractual compliance, delivery quality, resource effectiveness, and timely issue resolution.
Timeline Management
Own the project schedule and critical path, proactively managing milestones, stage gates, and delivery risks to achieve successful implementation.
Resource Planning
Plan and optimize project resources while ensuring business continuity, effective knowledge transfer, and long-term internal SAP capability development.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Lead end-to-end UAT planning and execution, ensuring comprehensive business validation, defect resolution, and formal readiness for go-live.
Training Coordination
Develop and oversee role-based SAP training programs to ensure users possess the knowledge and competency required for successful system adoption.
Cutover Planning
Plan and coordinate all cutover activities, ensuring a controlled transition from legacy systems to SAP with minimal business disruption.
Go-Live Management
Lead the go-live command center, managing issue resolution, system stability, and business continuity during SAP deployment.
Hypercare Support
Oversee the post-go-live stabilization period, driving rapid issue resolution, user adoption, and transition to steady-state SAP operations.
Project Closure
Complete project closure by validating business benefits, documenting lessons learned, closing contracts, and transferring ownership to the internal SAP support organization.
