• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a reputed university.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Python/Odoo application development.·        

• Internship or academic project experience in Odoo ERP development will be considered an advantage.

Skills & Expertise

Technical:

• Good working knowledge of Python and Odoo ERP development;

• OWL JS and Django exposure are a plus.

• Clear understanding of OOP concepts, database objects, and the software development lifecycle.

• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, and of Git version control.

• Basic familiarity with Docker, CI/CD tools, Bash scripting, and Linux environments; exposure to Terraform, Kubernetes, or AWS is an advantage.

• Hands-on experience with Agile methodology, Jira, and Confluence.

Behavioral

Job Purpose

The role supports the development, customization, and maintenance of Odoo (ERP) and other Python-based enterprise applications, covering backend, frontend, API, and database work. The incumbent also assists with deployment, CI/CD, and automation tasks under senior guidance, working with QA and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Odoo & Python Development

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo ERP modules using Python and the Odoo framework.

• Build RESTful APIs for internal and third-party integrations.

• Develop and customize Odoo frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and OWL JS.

• Write clean, reusable code and resolve reported application issues.

Database Support

• Design and optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

• Monitor database performance and support data integrity, backup, and security practices.

Deployment, CI/CD & Automation Support

• Manage source code using Git and collaborate through pull requests and code reviews.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and assist with application deployment and releases.

• Run and troubleshoot Docker containers; assist with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm deployments.

• Write Bash and Python scripts to automate routine tasks; assist with Terraform/Ansible and AWS environments.

Agile Delivery & Quality

• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives using Jira and Confluence.

• Perform debugging, testing, and code optimization following coding and documentation standards.

• Deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
