Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's/Masters in Psychology from any reputed University/Institution
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identification of the person in need of MHPSS support
∎ Conduct basic mental health assessment using assessment tools and establish baseline of car
∎ Facilitate group session focusing on socio-emotional processing, skill-building, anger and stress management, and other community needs
∎ Ensure regular follow-up sessions, conduct awareness and information sessions
∎ Identify barriers to accessing service and support solutions to ensure care, particularly for person with disability
∎ Support para counselor/rohingya community volunteers through capacity building and case follow up
∎ Identify/develop appropriate IEC materials for MHPSS and flashcards in local language and ensure that the materials are used during each counseling
∎ Develop and maintain relationship with other stakeholders at field level. Regularly monitoring the referral pathway
∎ Referral to other services for emergency and comprehensive care, also having the capacity to identify specialized MHPSS needs and appropriate referral
∎ Develop weekly and monthly plans towards the accomplishment of the work plan and monitor the plan accordingly
∎ Produce weekly and monthly report regarding counseling activities and submit on time
∎ Any other relevant task given by Supervisor
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good knowledge on health, nutrition, MHPSS, GBV
∎ Good knowledge on counseling
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Reporting and Documentation
∎ Skill on MS-word, MS-excel, power point, Data Collection App
∎ Active listener
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving concepts.
