Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducts needs assessment, evaluates the skills of the team and recommends the appropriate training
∎ Develops annual training plan to enhance staff skills and builds their capacities
∎ Conducts training sessions on child protection, case management & referral pathway, core humanitarian standards, gender, human rights and other related subjects
∎ Supports child protection staff in identifying the community needs and ensures annual training plan activities are aligned with project plans and proposals
∎ Trains Child Protection staff to ensure quality of work in the field and provide support to the volunteer.
∎ Works with Centre Manager, Sector Specialist, Project Manager to develop weekly, monthly and annual Coach training schedules for all project locations
∎ Oversees relevant CP staff in the field when they take session and training that all session and trainings are modified and aligned with proposals and work plans
∎ Works with M&E officer to ensure the implementation of annual training plan using qualitative and quantitative monitoring tools as well as performance assessment.
∎ Maintains records of the training database as well as the training library for the benefit and use of the team.
∎ Prepare report on training, session, workshop that are completed.
∎ Make regular field visit and ensure all training related activities e.g. CPiE, CM, LSBE, PSS, Vocational skills training etc.
∎ Coordinate with relevant organization and ensure the CBCPC and PCGC member are well trained on CPiE and other protection issues.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
