Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform Shelter and Site Improvement assessment through visit and interview of individual household/ community consultation along with Mahji by using prescribed format in collaboration with Site Management and CiC and other officials.
∎ Ensure distribution of the coupon among the selected households to receive the materials from the distribution center/point.
∎ Ensure requisition for required materials of shelter and site improvement as well as ensure the availability of materials in distribution center/ point.
∎ Ensure distribute the shelter materials and necessary accessories among the selected beneficiaries using master roll and KoBo and ensure the sufficient materials for site improvement intervention at site of construction.
∎ Ensure technical support and assistance to the beneficiaries to build their shelter by themselves with maintaining shelter performance standard and also ensure shelter building/ construction using the distributed shelter materials by themselves.
∎ Prepare daily report and submitted to the supervisor.
∎ Ensure the gender equity, disability, child protection are in systematically mainstreamed.
∎ Maintain close contract and extend cooperation to other BRAC Colleagues, Site Management, CiC, Govt. Officials, community and other related stakeholders.
∎ Provide technical support & assistance in line with shelter sector and organization standard as well as considering the need of the women, child, adolescent and person with disability and EVI families.
∎ Provide technical support and guidance to the Field Assistants, Shelter and beneficiaries for shelter building/ construction, maintenance and site improvement intervention in collaboration and coordination with Deputy Project Manager.
∎ Prepare daily team wise requisition of project materials like shelter kits, tools kits and site improvement materials and ensure the delivery in consultation with Sr. Branch Manager, warehouse keeper and store in-charge.
∎ Ensure the labor payment including labor attendance and master rolls and other relevant documents.
∎ Prepare IOU and provide the payment to labor on time regular basis.
∎ Maintain regular tracking and update of shelter activities with necessary adjustment to ensure the timely completion of all project work including reporting.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Have strong communication skills in both verbal and written on English and Bangla.

∎ Have ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.
∎ Have willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions.
∎ Have ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field.
