Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Learn BRAC financial systems and policies and give orientation to the project staffs to ensure accuracy in financial dealings and donor/Government compliances.
∎ Prepare financial report for BRAC, WFP.
∎ Submit project procurement requisition, check budget provisions and keep liaison with procurement, admin and logistics for ensuring necessary support for project.
∎ Ensure proper charging as per budget line items and tracking of project expenses.
∎ Provide monthly payment planning for labor, porter, volunteer at field level and provide necessary fund requisitions appropriate RO/Brach offices.
∎ Complete multiple tasks accurately and ensure task activities within the required timeframes.
∎ Prepared receipts payment account, balance sheet, etc.
∎ Support the external audit process and liaise with internal and external auditors.
∎ Ensure all logistics and administrative requirement of project.
∎ Undertake financial and accounting activities for projects.
∎ Interpret and apply financial policies, guidelines and procedures as and when required.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least three (02) years working experience in Finance and Accounts or in similar role.
∎ Skills in budget preparation and financial reporting in donor prescribed format is prefered.
∎ Technical skills in budget tracking and using different accounts related software.
∎ Ability to prepare financial report as per donor requirement
∎ Working experience in Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Experience in working under pressure.
∎ Communication and coordination skills
∎ KNOWLEDGE:- SPHERE Standards, BRAC’s values and mission, development sector, global development scenario to identify funding trends.
∎ SKILLS:- Strategic communication, relationship building.
∎ COMPETENCIES:- Facilitating group meetings, developing work and project plans, setting priorities, meeting deadlines
