Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, develop and implement the skill development activities in the selected camp under the umbrella of HCMP, BRAC
∎ Oversee the skill development component of the projects in Bhasan Chars, in accordance with the project objectives, activities and targets outlined in the project documents and in line with project's budgets
∎ Monitor skill development component in the camps and impact of activities and propose adjustments of the project strategy where needed
∎ Coach, train and mentor staffs with the aim of strengthening their capacity, exchanging knowledge within the team and providing professional development guidance
∎ Provide supportive supervision and guidance to staff, manage conflicts for smooth functioning of the project activities
∎ Establish and maintain effective working relationships and networking with stakeholders and donor agencies, and other similar projects of BRAC
∎ Ensure good working relationship with the camp administrators/CiCs and ensure necessary approval required from them of the project related things
∎ Participate and attend CIC meetings on rotational basis in different camps, and raise BRAC's voice
∎ Efficient and proper management of resources including financial, human and project assets
∎ Ensure effective contribution in budget management and tracking, monitoring programme budget as per the plan
∎ Lead to prepare and submission of report to BRAC and Donor
∎ Ensure proper utilization of donor budget and resources
∎ Forecast and follow up on expenditure related to the project
∎ Conduct budget and program implementation tracking, with the assistance of MEAL, MIS, finance dept. and other relevant staff
∎ Plan for timely purchase requisition in line with the project deliverables
∎ Planning of activities: Provide weekly and monthly work plan
∎ Contribute to concept note and project proposal writing as needed by the programme
∎ Ensure good coordination and cooperation with other component managers of the project
∎ Provide overall assistance to the Programme Manager (Implementation) as per need related to project implementation
∎ Represent BRAC in any relevant thematic meetings with stakeholders and otherwise as needed
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

∎ Knowledge on application of skills development component, monitoring, report writing, presentation preparation, and safeguarding
∎ Knowledge on budget preparation, administration and donor compliance issues
∎ Knowledge on people management, multiculturalism, ethics and supervision
∎ Have management and leadership quality
∎ Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in a sensitive environment
∎ Effective communication and presentation skills
∎ Have computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, and Excel)
∎ Excellent influencing, negotiating and communication skills
∎ Excellent organization, and coordination skills
∎ Demonstrated ability to think technically, prioritize and meet deadlines in a challenging environment; must be culturally sensitive
∎ Ability to operate in a complex organization, across functions and work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of diverse teams
