Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan and implement the Accelerated Adult Learning Project (AAL) and develop a detailed  project plan that outlines the tasks, schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables to achieve its goals
∎ Support and direct the project team members in effectively operating all aspects of the adult learning programme implementation, ensuring the team has the tools and materials needed to succeed in the ADC operation
∎ Drive to improve the facilitator's capacity for effective session delivery of AAL courses to achieve optimum results. Set targets for the AAL implementation team regarding the number of learners enrolled and their progress
∎ Guide and motivate the project team members to gain a good understanding of AAL course packages, approaches, and principles used in adult education so that they can effectively manage the AAL sessions
∎ Track regular progress to ensure the project meets its defined objectives and remains on schedule by prioritising tasks, mitigating delays, and accommodating challenges
∎ Visit and follow up on the programme regularly and ensure the dissemination of observations, findings, and recommendations to team members to ensure the project's effectiveness
∎ Lead quality assurance to meet the projects' expected quality standards, identifying inconsistencies or issues and executing corrective measures
∎ Manage the project budget and prepare necessary financial reports and documents to update the internal management team and donors on the project's expenditures
∎ Liaise efficiently with key stakeholders, including team members, senior management, donors and the community, to ensure everyone is informed and engaged
∎ Identify and assess potential risks and threats to the project’s success and prepare mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution
∎ Prepare periodical project reports, keep comprehensive records and effective documentation of project activities such as contracts, financial statements, and communications
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ The Project Manager will be responsible for overall management of Accelerated Adult Learning (AAL) activities in order to operate and function the adolescent centers, manage logistics, maintain gov. and non-gov. liaison, coordinate different stakeholders and team
