∎ Team building and leading capacity and ability to work under pressure and deadline.
∎ Planning, budgeting, word processing, worksheet, articulation and social research,

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate in the implementation of the well-founded project with the local partners.
∎ Work closely with the project manager and coordinate in the implementation of the well foundation project with the local partners.
∎ Frequent field visit and report generation and share with the project management team.
∎ Documentation of reports and any other supporting document relevant to the project.
∎ Coordinate with the donor, Partnership Development (PD) team, finance, MEAL and relevant programme teams to ensure smooth implementation of projects activities.
∎ Job Profile:
∎ ActionAid has been operating in Bangladesh since 1983 with the goal to strive for social justice whereby inequality is eradicated by applying the Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) which centers on transforming unjust power relations in the communities and countries we work in using the pillars of empowerment, solidarity, and campaigning. In addition, AAB is also committed to applying a feminist lens and values in its work.
∎ This project seeks to empower 1000 smallholder women farmers in the coastal regions of Patuakhali and Bagerhat, Bangladesh, who face significant challenges due to climate change. By training them on Climate Resilient Sustainable Agriculture (CRSA) practices and providing them with clean energy-based technologies like solar incubators and portable solar irrigation systems, the project aims to enhance their agricultural productivity and income. Furthermore, the project will establish Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) to foster financial independence and enable women farmers to invest in their agricultural ventures. Finally, the project will advocate for the effective implementation of national agricultural and energy policies to ensure the rights and well-being of vulnerable rural communities
∎ The Programme Officer will be assisting the project manager in developing plans to implement project activity. He/she will be required to closely monitor and coordinate with the local implementing partners to carry out the work. He/she is required to do field visits at the project locations.
∎ Key responsibilities include (not limited to):
∎ Participate in project cycle management (70% Time)
∎ Coordinate in the implementation of the well-founded project with the local partners.

∎ Monthly Gross Salary BDT. 76,431 with other admissible benefits such as festival bonus, provident fund, gratuity, medical benefit, group life insurance, mobile & internet allowance etc, as per HROD Policy.
