Job Context:
∎ Project: `Strengthening Gender-based Violence (GBV) prevention services though OCCs at District and Upazila level and enhancing lifesaving response for women and girls through an integrated GBV and A/SRHR approach in the natural disaster-prone areas of Bangladesh` project, (funded by UNFPA)
∎ Contract Duration: up to 30 June 2023 (possibility of extension depending on donor fund)
∎ Number of Position: 01 (Only women are encouraged to apply)
∎ Job Summary: The Programme officer at district OCC will be responsible to support the coordination and administrative tasks at District OCC. She will also be responsible for maintaining, strengthening the data collection process for monitoring and evaluation of the project. The Program Officer will coordinate with all OCCs to ensure appropriate support from the district OCC and this is one of the major roles and will also oversee the case management process. She will provide support to MHPSS Counsellor and Senior Officers for the GBV case Management supervision at Upazila level as additional job requirement. She will assist PM for donor reporting through providing information and other products that engage in evidence-based, critical analysis to improve programming throughout the project cycle. The person will be reported to Project Manager and work closely with OCC Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare and maintain/update detailed work plan of OCC staffs that support and achieve activities.
∎ Provide direct support and ongoing mentoring to Nurses, MHPSS counsellors, Case Workers as they provide services to women and girl survivors of GBV at District Sadar Hospital OCC level
∎ Support in project implementation and monitoring of District level OCC program
∎ The Program Officer will coordinate with all OCCs to ensure appropriate support from the district OCC
∎ Directly engage in coordination and collaboration with GoB and NGO stakeholders; like Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital authority, Civil Surgeon Office, Health Coordination Cell, MoWCA coordination cell, law enforcing agencies, other IPS of HGSP, Upazila Health Complex, and other department of Govt.
∎ Maintain coordination with MIS data officer for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
∎ Engage in analyses of data to ensure readily available information on known trends and patterns on GBV for inclusion at relevant points. And will be responsible for oversee the GBVIMS, IPTT and 5W reporting.
∎ Organize and lead the monthly SVAW meeting and learning sharing workshop of the project.
∎ Support Project Manager to prepare qualitative and quantitative reports, monthly reports, event reports, Situational Reports, Progress Reports, and Program presentations as a member of project team and share based on the permission of the authorities.
∎ Provide support to project manager to train, mentor, and support MHPSS officer, case workers, nurses and other project staffs for ethical and safe case management process as well as information sharing protocol.
∎ Provide necessary support to Project Manager, OCC coordinator and other senior colleagues and Hospital authority regarding any emerged situation and solving project level problem and challenges.
∎ Relationships: The Programme Officer will report to Project Manager. S/he must be located near the OCC (within 5 km)

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years' experience working with GBV prevention & response, GBVIMS and GBVIMS+, experience to work with community people specially with women.
∎ Good communication and reporting skills (oral and written) in both Bangla and English
∎ Excellent team player, analytical and time management.
∎ MS Office packages including spreadsheet. Access and SPSS as added advantage.
∎ Experience in management and administration of any center or team.
∎ Experience working with Government Stakeholders especially with Health and Gender sector and non-governmental organizations
∎ In depth understanding of the survivor-centered approach to GBV programming, particularly in the context of GBV case management
