Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Focal person for developing and implementing strategies for innovative interventions/projects or pilot projects focusing on emerging issues like Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), Community Clinic (CC) management and reaching the last mile in hard-to-reach areas.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall project implementation for the 360-degree Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) care project areas and Community Clinic (CC) partnerships and projects in hard-to-reach areas
∎ Explore and foster partnership opportunities with the government, especially Community Clinic Health Support Trust (CCHST), and Community Based Health Care (CBHC), Non-Communicable Disease Control (NCDC), and ensure regular liaison, oversee preparation and updating of strategic documents (MOU), reporting & smooth implementation of related projects
∎ Develop plans and implementation strategies to uphold teamwork and group dynamics to facilitate service delivery systems in Rural projects
∎ Provide supportive supervision and facilitate field activities with the help of the Divisional Manager and Area Manager to achieve programme targets
∎ Prepare/revise project budgets and financial tracking of expenditures
∎ Manage and ensure an uninterrupted supply chain to maintain logistics support to field offices
∎ Maintain financial integrity through accountabilities, transparency, and consistency in financial proceedings in alignment with the process outlined by senior management of BRAC
∎ Disseminate project findings, lessons learned and best practices in national and field-level meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops
∎ Coordinate with different departments of BRAC, e.g. Monitoring unit of BHP, MEAL Department, Finance & Accounts, IAD, Procurement, HRD, BLD, Programme Support Unit (PSU), and others
∎ Analyze m-Health (MIS), DFS, and program data to provide various reports and make decisions for the improvement of the program
∎ Coordinate and liaise with different development partners in the health sector at international, national, and local levels
∎ Staff management -hiring, performance appraisal etc.
