Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The Programme Manager will take a lead to the overall management and execution of the project by ensuring that the objectives, expected output/outcome and set indicators are achieved following all compliance, guidelines and policies of the partner organizations. The person also needs to maintain strong coordination with all stakeholders for the successful implementation and portfolio management.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To develop strategies, implementation plans and procedures for the programme activities under the Out of School Children Programme independently.
∎ Develop strategies, operating plan for the programme activities in alignment with agreed terms, budget for successful implementation of the project activities and ensure implementation accordingly.
∎ Ensure quality management system, relevant approvals in time and compliance; Prepare and execute plan for staff and teacher professional development.
∎ To lead the successful execution of the planned activities of the project to achieve the set targets, objectives, output and outcome by following all guidelines, compliances, standards and policies of both BRAC and Hempel.
∎ Maintain a strong professional relationship with relevant key stakeholders and coordinate regular engagement meetings with them to address necessary communication within and outside BRAC to make a vertical and horizontal smooth communication flow with all relevant stakeholders of project/programme.
∎ Critically analyse program quality, targets, budget, identify key issues of program implementation and work closely with BEP field management, senior management, project partners and other stakeholders to address those.
∎ Identifying key strategies for learning, evidence generation on the project and its key activities and ensure implementation. Prepare concept paper/notes, project proposal, MoU, ToR related to program activity.
∎ Create opportunity to project's units and colleagues to grow and build capacity. Build a team, and help team leaders to carry out their plans, and extend needful supports. Ensure that the teams have due resources. Promote a culture of learning, sharing, positivity, harmony and empathy.
