Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee all of Urban Development Programme (UDP's) activities-including donor-funded projects like IsDB-Health project intervention for 2020-2025 ensuring development and programme wide implementation of a sound knowledge management framework
∎ Work with all department of an organisation to replicate an integrated ecosystem for programme management, financial planning, health services development, compliance, public relations, people management, development goals, efficiency & quality improvement
∎ Collaborate with MOH&FW, DGHS, Civil surgeon, UH&FPO, physicians, nurses, and other hospital professional staff to establish standards for running a medical/ health facility and ensure strategic support for smooth implementation of UDP interventions focused on primary health care, community & facility based MNH service delivery, TB care and diagnostics
∎ Collaboration with city corporation & municipality authority and also liaise with the relevant government line agencies, private sector, training institutions for project implementation
∎ Manage field operations budget ensuring all expenditures are done according to approved budget and take appropriate measures if non-budgeted expenditures are required at field level
∎ Oversee UDP's information and communications related activities and ensure timely submission of donor reports, align with the line of BRAC's logframe and AOP
∎ Development of FD6, AOPs, log-frame and production of different Information, review national and international best practices, innovations and successful interventions in areas relevant to UDP's strategic priorities and take initiatives to incorporate these in the designs of existing and new interventions
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience Requirement: Minimum 07 years of working experience with NGOs, UN agency or international development organisation including 05 years of experience in the health project or programme is mandatory
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong understanding of current national and global development trends related to urban poverty and urban development, women empowerment, community organising and social mobilisation, rights-based approach, gender, good governance, access to information, SDGs
∎ Have knowledge and understanding of project cycle management and results based management
∎ Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
∎ Effective programme and people management skills with strong competencies in team work and partnership
∎ Have skills in operational management of projects /programmes
∎ Effective communication and documentation skills
